Borderline Personality Disorder

Whole Healing. Whole Self.

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) can feel like walking on shifting ground. Feelings flip fast. One moment there’s closeness, the next there’s fear of loss. But what if trauma, anxiety, or substance use add to the weight? Life gets heavy. Trust breaks. Hope feels far away. At Alter Women’s Trauma Center, we don’t treat BPD in isolation. We see the full story and meet every layer of struggle. Why choose half a path when you deserve care for the whole journey?

Borderline Personality Disorder

The Daily Fight. The Fight We Face Together.

When borderline mixes with other struggles, the signs can blur. Is it anger, or is it grief? Is it emptiness, or is it depression? That’s why we don’t rush—we pause, we notice, and we create a plan that feels steady. We guide therapy, build coping tools, and bring grounding into daily life. Healing isn’t about silencing feelings. It’s about finding safe ways to live with them and still move forward.

Our Approach: Direct. Adaptable. Made for Women.

No two women live with BPD the same way. Some feel abandoned at the smallest change. Others feel waves of shame or emptiness that don’t fade. Our treatment bends with your needs, right where you are. We shift in real time, shaping each group, each tool, and each therapy to match your goals. You’ll never be forced into a box. We build care around your life, your story, and the strength you already carry.

Levels of Care for BPD & Other Struggles

Borderline and co-occurring disorders show up differently for every woman. Some face urgent emotions that spiral into unsafe moments. Others need a daily rhythm to keep steady. Many balance recovery while raising kids, working, or studying. That’s why we offer multiple levels of support. Wherever you stand, there’s a program built to hold you there—so healing feels safe, steady, and built to last.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Consultation

PHP brings full days of therapy but lets women return home at night. It works best for those who need strong support while keeping independence outside treatment hours.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Consultation

IOP provides steady therapy while leaving room for school, work, and family. It’s lighter than PHP but offers more structure than weekly counseling.
